It's Been Awhile...

It has been a long while since I have written on our website!! There really hasn't been a lot going on. We currently have a very sick little pooch. Our Bailey has bronchial pneumonia. We took him to the vet Saturday night because he was breathing really funny. They took blood and also did X-rays. We found out on Monday that he had pneumonia and they are really concered about his liver. It was enlarged. So, we are taking him to the vet on Thursday for a sonogram. They are checking to see if he has Cushings Disease. It is not really fun around here right now. We did buy a really cute humidifier for him. It is an elephant. It will be Ali Shea's when she gets here.
The other thing going is, my in-laws took our house off the market. I guess one of the back duplex is really bad. So, they decided to pull it off the market for now. That has been a big weight lifted off our shoulders for right now.
Husband and I have been doing fine. We got really sick after the first. We are doing a lot better now. We are just waiting for our Alicyn Shea. I really don't think we will be bring her home this year. I really hope that it will happen next year!!

Merry Christmas!!!!! We have had a GREAT Christmas! Husband got all the toys (electronics) that he wanted and then some. As for me, I was not expecting what Husband got me at all. I am now the proud owner of a Cricut Expressions. This is for my scrap booking. I can't wait to use it. I also got some other goodies from Husband. We went to my mom's early this morning to open our presants and eat breakfast. We got a toaster/toaster oven and lots of goodies from her. Mom's big gift was a 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV from my dad. She has needed a new TV for a long while now. She LOVES it!! We have had a great Christmas, but it would have been the best if Alicyn Shea was home. We can't wait for the day we can spend Christmas with her.

38 Month LIDversary!!/ Christmas Eve

Today is our 38th Month LIDversary and Christmas Eve!! I can't believe that we have been waiting this long for our Alicyn Shea. I can't wait until we can celebrate Christmas with her. Another Christmas without our Ali Shea. Hopefully next Christmas she will be home with us. That might be wishful thinking. 
Today Mom and I will be going out to brunch and do some window shopping in Old Town Auburn. This has been a tradition for Mom and I. I can't wait till it is Mom, me and Ali Shea. We will pick up a little something for Ali Shea. Tonight we will be having dinner at mom and then after that, the 3 of us will be going Christmas Light Seeing.

Snow Today...

Today we had a great day!! It SNOWED!!! I have posted a few of the pictures I took today. I was up at 4 am becuase the power went off and I check outside and we had about 6 inches of snow. It was so unreal!! We have never had snow in December. This was awesome!! I love the snow, but I don't want to live in the snow. We went out around 8 am and checked out our small town. It was so pretty. I took about 100 pictures, but I only posted about 15 of them. The pooches really didn't like going out in the snow, but they were so cute.
I am sorry I haven't written in awhile. Not much has been going on. Our house is still for sale. I hope we get some people looking at it after the new year. I figured I would start packing up Ali Shea's room after the new year. It is going to be really hard. I can't wait until it is our turn to get our referral and see Ali Shea's cute face. Hopefully referrals will start speeding up. March 06' is now done. That was the biggest month. There are a couple of big days in April, but hopefully it will go by fast. We can hope! :)

37th Month LIDversary!!!

Today we will be celebrating our 37th Month LIDversary!! I can't believe that all this time has gone by. It feels like it has been taking FOREVER to bring our Alicyn Shea home!! We are still waiting and we will Wait how ever long it takes to bring her home!! Tonight we will go out to dinner to celebrate our Ali Shea. We will also buy her a little something to mark this accomplishment. Please join us in celebrating this day!!
Ali Shea...Mommy and Daddy are still waiting to meet you. We can't wait till we can bring you home. This Thursday is Thanksgiving and I can't wait until we call celebrate Thanksgiving as a family. We love you very much and can't wait until you are home with us. :)
