ZZ's Day...
July 20, 2008
Yesterday was ZZ's (Daisy) Day! We decided to make an appointment for Daisy get groomed and her poo hole trimmed. We also had an appointment to get our car serviced. She got to go to the Saturn dealer and then we took her to PetSmart for her grooming appointment. She was such a trooper. We had to leave her, which was really hard for me. I wanted her to get her nails painted, but she wasn't having it. They weren't able to do it because she tried jumping off the table. She still looked really good even without the painted nails. This picture is of Daisy in the car. We stopped at the gas station to get some drinks. When Dean got out of the car this is what she was doing. She is also seat belted in, so this was all that she could do. She is a really strange pooch.
Lazy Pooches...
July 17, 2008
This is a typical day with the pooches. They have been so lazy lately. I love how Bailey is laying. He is so goofy sometimes. Lily is ALWAYS on the pillows that our on our end table. That is her thrown. She is a PRINCESS. Then we have our jester, Daisy. Notice the toy by her. She is always playing with something. Even when she is being lazy she has a toy with her. Goofy Pooches. It is almost Friday! Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday! I am getting ready to go out to lunch with a friend. Then later tonight mom and I have water aerobics. LOVE IT! We haven't been able to go lately due to the smoky skies. It is getting better.
Painted Pigs...

I thought I would write on the Website this time...well actually Cyndi asked me to. I'll give a little rundown of what we've been up to.
Thursday night we went and had dinner @ Johnny Carino's with our friend Jen. I had to leave them after dinner to take a service call at a Nextel Cell Site which was quite a way south of Stockton Ca. It's about 115 miles from home (about 4 hours roundtrip).
I just got off of my On-call duty at work doing Air Conditioning. With the temperature hitting 108-110 degrees we were a little busy. I was actually the 2nd person on-call so it wasn't too bad. It's certainly a relief to be free!
I had a late night call on Thursday so Friday when I got home from work all I could do was sleep....well at least for a couple of hours. We got up and decided to go check out the local Cruise night (2nd Friday of each month during the Summer) and get something to eat. The same night they happened to be doing the Lighting Ceremony for our old theater which received a face-lift and all new (retro) lighting. We met up with some of our friends there. We walked to Sean and Serena's house and ended up walking back to the lighting ceremony with Serena and the kids George and Maddy. While we were there we also saw our old neighbors Chad and Erika with their kids Hannah and Ben. We watched the lights come up on the refurbished theater...sorry no pics, it was kinda' spur o' the moment...and it looked beautiful. It was nice to see everyone and be out and about in our nice little town.
Saturday we went to Hallmark for their July Ornament sale. Cyndi has been eying several ornaments she "can't live without" plus they give out little freebies and specials. I know she looks forward to this every year. There weren't too many House-Frau's this time and we went early as well. We went to see "Wanted" at the theater nearby. It was a fun movie with a bunch of twists and turns.
When we got home we rented Indiana Jones again (I think for the 4th time at least) for our WII. We are determined to finish this thing..well actually we finished it but there are lots of secret items and levels we haven't unlocked yet. It's a fun game that we enjoy playing together.
So, it's been a nice weekend overall. Sorry, nothing too exciting...Just life.
