Obsessed with Twilight

  October 20, 2008

click to enlarge I am totally obsessed with Twilight!!  I can't wait till the movie comes out on November 21.  I have read the books TONS of times.  I am now the new owner of this wonderful book:  TWILIGHT The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion.  It is mine!!  I have been looking at it all evening.  I not only have all the books and now this new one, but I am also addicted to LOTS of websites!  I check them more then my adoption ones.  Now, that is very SICK!!  See, I told you I have an addiction.  My main obsession is with Robert Pattinson.  He is going to be playing Edward Cullen.  He was Cedric Diggery in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  He is extremely HOT!!  I can't seem to get enough of him.  I know, I am happily married to a wonderful man, but there is something about this man that has me checking every day to see if there are new pics of him.  SICK!!  Husband puts up with it.  He teases me alot about it.  I don't blame him.  Well, if you haven't read these books, I highly recommend them.  They are really good!

Saturday!!

  October 19, 2008

click to enlarge Saturday was a very busy and fun day.  We went to the movies and saw Sex Drive.  OK, I have to admit that the original reason for seeing this movie was so I could see the new Twilight trailer in front of it.  Well, when the trailer finally came on, they had a problem with the film.  We ended up seeing it on half the screen.  Needless to say that I was upset.  As for the movie, Sex Drive, we both really enjoyed it.  It was funny.  It is not a movie for everyone.  If you liked American Pie, then you would like this movie.  That is kind of what it reminded me of.  Definitely made for a fun Saturday.  After the movies we went to Mervyn's to get some sheets, they were having great sales and then went grocery shopping.  That evening we had dinner at my moms.  It was a very busy and fun day.  We hope you all had a great weekend.

I Believe in Fairy Tales Swap...

  October 19, 2008

click to enlarge I got into this swap back into September through our WWF Group.  Well, the original person that sent us our gift did a really crappy thing to us.  The limit for this swap was $20-25.  They ended up sending us a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and a very used and worn and stained pair of PJ's.  It wasn't right.  I was very up sent so I got in touch with the person in charge and told them what happened and she ended up sending us a new gift.  Well, we received it on Friday.  This is what Anik sent us: a Tinkerbell mesh storge, a Disney Fairies puzzle and a Disney Fairies 3 piece set with bowl, cup and plate.  She went over and above then what was ever expected.  We would like to personally thank Anik for this wonderful gift.  We really appricate it.  I was so looking forward to this swap and you made it very special for me.  I LOVE FAIRIES!!  You are a very special person and we can't thank you enough for this.  I want to give you a heads up that we sent you a little something for this.  Thanks again.

San Francisco and Julie!!

  October 13, 2008

click to enlarge Sunday was a GREAT day!!  We spent the day in San Francisco with Julie Cochrane.  She came out here from New Hampshire for work.  We have been friends for a long while.  Her and her husband John are also adopting from China.  We are very close with our LIDs.  So, for the day we picked her up at the hotel and took her back into the city.  We first went to Lombard St.  We went down it, which Dean and I have never done.  It was quite interesting.  If you don't know what Lombard St is, it is the crickest street in San Francisco.  It also has a wonderful view of bay.  It ended up being a very clear and nice day.  We were able to see Alcatraz Island.  We then went down to the Wharf.  We went to Ghirardelli Square.  We checked out the chocolate and also walked around there.  Then we went down to the wharf.  We ended up seeing the Bush Man, which we took Julie's picture with him.  We took here to Pier 39 and took pics of Alcatraz Island and the Seal lions.  We had lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe.  Then we wanted to go and walk the Golden Gate Bridge, but it was packed.  This past week was Fleet Week.  We ended up being there on the last day.  The city was packed with people.  We never found a parking spot there, so we made it down to the Priscideo.  We made it to a nice park down close to the bridge.  We stayed there and watched the Blue Angles.  That was really neat.  We got lots of pictures for Julie.  Over all it was a wonderful day.  I was so glad I got to meet Julie in person.  She is such a very nice person.  When we took her back to her hotle, we had a very hard time getting out of the city.  It took us 2 hrs just to get from her hotel to over the bay bridge.  That was forever.  It should have only taken us 20 min.  Our average 2 hr trip home took us 5 hrs.  That was the only poopy part.
Julie...I was so glad to meet you finally in person.  We had such a great time.  Thanks for asking us to come and spend the day with you.  You are such a great person.  Have a great rest of the time you are here.  I will get all the pictures to you as soon as we get them on a disk.  There are A LOT!!
