We would like to say Thank You to Laney, Chris and Maggie Ford for these wonderful goodies they sent us. This is for Make the Wait with Harrah's Group. This is a Souvenir Swap. They sent us some chocolate goodies and a very cute Boyd's Bear wearing a shirt. Thank you so much. I wanted to let you know that I collect Boyd's Bears. They little guys will be one of the few that Ali Shea already has. Thank you so much.

Happy 34th Birthday, Husband!!! Today is Dean's birthday. We are going to go to the pumpkin patch. This is on of our favorite things to do. We are also going to his parents for dinner. Last night we had a little get together with my mom. He got a lightsaber attachment for his Wii control, Wii game : Star Wars Force Unleashed and a book that goes to the game. We spent last night playing his game on the new TV. He really liked it. Please help me wish my wonderful Husband a happy birthday!! Husband...I love you very much!! Happy Birthday.
New TV

We are now proud owners of this beauty, a LG 42" LCD Flat Panel HDTV. WOW!! It is HUGE compared to what we had before. We also bought a new TV stand for it. It would not fit in our huge oak wall unit. We like the new one better. It is glass. I think it looks very slick. I still need to take down my craft table and bring out a smaller one, so I have a place to do my scrap booking. We still have to move the oak wall unit into our bedroom, which will be a challenge. We have to take it out the front door and take it around the back and up our small porch. I think we might have to take down our dog ramp for awhile. For right now it is in my kitchen. It is very crowed in our small kitchen. We can't do it today because it is raining. It is nice to have a rainy day and watch our new tv. Tomorrow is Husbands birthday. We are planning on going to the pumpkin patch and then go to his parents house for dinner. My mom is coming over tonight for dinner. We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
No More Big TV...

This morning was an interesting morning needless to say. I woke up at 7 am like normal. Husband was still home. He was working in town this morning. The TV was on. Husband was getting ready to go when a little pop happened and the TV went out. At first it was like the power went off, but the lights and computer was still on. Then there was a smell of smoke. Not good. I was so glad that Husband was still home. He unplugged it and went to get the small TV from the bedroom so I had something to watch today. Here is a picture of our big TV and our little TV that I am now watching. We have to go TV shopping tonight. This has been something we wanted to do, but not so soon. We haven't bought a TV since 13 yrs ago. We sold our original TV 2 yrs ago at a yard sale because Dean's brother gave us this hand me down TV. The little TV was a gift 4 yrs ago. We are very intimidated with the TV shopping. I will let you all know what we end up getting. Hopefully this weekend. I don't want to watch the small TV to long. It is very hard to watch. Do you guys have any suggestions on a good TV? HDTV/LCD/Plasma. Any ideas???
