2 Yr LIDversary Gifts for Ali Shea..

  October 25, 2008

click to enlarge Here are the goodies we got for Alicyn Shea for our 2 yr LIDversary.  We got her Disney goodies and a really cute book.  I wanted to get her Disney Fairies.  We had a hard time finding her the Tinkerbell doll.  I asked Dean if he could go to the Disney store in Sacramento to see if they had it.  Well, they did, but when he bought it they put it in  a Cinderella pink bag.  He had to walk out of the mall with this.  I told him to get use to it.  It was his first really "Daddy" moment.

click to enlarge Today we went Yard-Sale shopping and since we're tired of seeing the same old Crap that's around here we decided to go to Sacramento and look around.  No Newspaper, just looking for signs.  We also like to look at the old houses and nice neighborhoods in East-Sacramento.  Some look like fairy tale houses and some are small mansions. Anyway, we ended up finding a chair...not that we necessarily needed one, but you can always have more places to sit. It was $25 and we asked if they would take $20.  What a couple of hagglers huh? It BARELY fit in the back of our car but somehow we were able to squeeze it in. That pretty much ended our Yard Sale-ing for the day.  We got it home and set in the corner and after a couple of hours Lily, our Chihuahua took a liking to it.  She is our Princess and the Pea.  She likes to be up high so she can look over her kingdom and rule as she see's fit.

Any other Yard Sale People out there...come on and admit it.

Talk to you all later.
