Where Are We??

You all have probably been wondering where we have been....We are still here, there just isn't much going on. We are looking forward to our trip to Disneyland next month. I go tomorrow and pay for our reservations. Big changes happened today and Husband and I are now staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We are both really excited about it!! There was a big issue, but we got it taken care of. I know that my nieces and nephew will really enjoy seeing the hotel and swimming in the big pool. Tomorrow I have to go pay for it. That was the biggest drama we have had in awhile.
Something very special happened to some very close friends of ours and we would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to them. They know how they are!! We love you both very much!!

Here is what we got for our Dec gift from our Oct LID Group Secret Buddy. This months theme was Chinese Characters. They sent us these really cute frames with Chinese Characters for Alicyn name and Health, Peace and Love and a very cute Fairy ornament for Ali Shea. Thank you so much for these wonderful goodies. We love them all. Happy New Year. Here is to China speeding up!!

What's Been Going On...

It has been a while since I have updated our website. We have had a lot going on. Let's start with Christmas.Christmas was GREAT!! We had a really nice day. I got up around 4 am and then woke Dean up around 5 am to open up our gifts. Santa was really great to us this year. I got a new iPod touch from Husband and he got a keyboard that plugs into the computer so he can make his music. Those were our big gifts. We got lots more. Then we went to moms to have breakfast and open gifts there. We got lots of goodies from her. Then we went to go and visit his Grandma Knight. We stayed with her for a little while. It was a really nice day. Then we had dinner at moms.
Friday...we had a car appointment and we also did some house cleaning. Non eventful day. Just getting things ready for our busy weekend.
Saturday...we went to San Francisco to meet up with my cousins. They drove from Fresno to meet us there. We stayed there until about 3 pm. We had a very nice visit. It was great seeing them. I haven't seen them in years.
Sunday...Michelle and her husband Joe drove up to our sleepy little town to meet us and have lunch. They are also adopting from China. They are logged in a couple of days after us. We had a really nice time. Very nice people. Thank you Michelle for the Tinkerbell ornament. I really love it. It was great meeting you guys. I can't wait to meet up again in February.
No this brings me to they past couple of days. I have been really SICK!! We are not sure what happened. We think that I got sick from the lunch. I had a coleslaw that had celantro in it. It really makes my stomach upset. Well, I ate it all. We think I might be allergic to it. I vomited on Sunday night and had really bad stomach problems the past few days. I haven't been this sick since 1993. NOT FUN!! I do have to say that I am feeling better today. Just in time to bring in the New Year!!
