Happy Easter!! We hope you all have a wonderful day. We are having a BBQ and Dean's parents and my mom are coming over. Today we should have great Spring weather. It was raining all last week.

You all have probably been wondering what we have been up to. Well, we have been painting our bathroom. It has taken a few evenings to do, but it is now done. Husband did a great job. Our bathroom walls and ceiling is now PURPLE!! I LOVE PURPLE! It is my favorite color. When my in-laws redid the shower/bath, they had gray tile and purple glass tiles done on the wall. It looks really nice. So, I picked two different shades of purple for the walls and ceiling. Here is a picture of just the corner of the shower, ceiling and wall. It is only a peek of what has been done. I will post a picture of what it looks like as soon as we finish all that still needs to be done. We still have to put in our new counter and hopefully a new toilet. I can't wait until it is all done. It will be really nice. Tell me what you think of the paint job. Today husband has a UKE gig today. Mom and I are going to see him and his group play at his Grandma Knight's nursing home. He has been really into his Uke group. They practice every Sunday. He really likes it.
This weekend is Easter. We will be having a BBQ at our house. My mom is coming over. Nothing really special. I can't wait until Ali Shea is here, so we could hide eggs. I remember growing up and really liking hunting for Easter Eggs. It will be fun when Ali Shea is here. We hope you all have a great Easter Weekend.
New Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier..

For a while now we have been having problems with our printer. Also, our scanner hasn't been working right. So, last night we out to Best Buy and bought this bad boy. It is a HP Photosmart Premium printer/fax/scan/copier. Isn't it the cutest!! It does so much. We are still learning how to use it. It is also wireless. Which is really cool. It has been awhile sense I have written. Not much has been going on. We have been having really nice weather here. We went out yard sale shopping over the weekend. We got lots of good buys. We got a brand new Kenmore microwave for $25. That had to be our best buy. We are also getting ready to start painting our bathroom. We have finally settled on a color. The ceiling will be a purple and the walls will be a matching lavender. I will take pics when it is done. I think that is what we are doing Saturday. Also, on Saturday we have an appointment with DirecTV to come out and install our new HD DVR and dish. Finally we will be able to watch tv without it being stretched to fit the screen. So, that is what we been up to. Tomorrow I have an appointment at Saturn to get our beast of a car serviced. FUN!! :) I hope you all are doing well. Have a great week!
29 Month LIDversary Gifts...

Here is what we got Ali Shea for her 29 month LIDversary gift. We went out to dinner at the Olive Garden and then we went to the mall to go to Gymboree. I love this store. Right now they have TONS of Ladybug clothes. You should go and check it out. There are also good sales going on. We can't wait to see little Miss Ali Shea in these very cute clothes. The pink sweater is from her Nana Ann (my mom). My mom loves to buy for her. We can't wait until she is here.
29 Month LIDversary!!

Today we are celebrating our 29 month LIDversary! I can't believe that we have been waiting this long. It has been a long time. When we started this process, we were told that it would take 10-12 months. Well, that didn't happen. The wait just keeps getting longer and longer every month. I am not sure of what it is up to right now. I am pretty sure it is over 30 months. The last referrals only made it to 3/6/06. We are 10/26/06. We still have a LONG WAIT!! We will wait however long it takes to bring our Alicyn Shea home. As for celebrating tonight, we will be going out to dinner and then we will get Ali Shea a little gift. Alicyn Shea...Mommy and Daddy are still waiting for you. We love you very much and can't wait until you are home with us.
