Quick Update...

Hi everyone...I just wanted to put a quick note in saying that we are on our way home. We are currently staying in Newport, OR. I just wanted to let you all now that we did not make it to Canada. I picked too much stuff to do and I had to choose what I really wanted. I chose the Twilight Tour in Washington. That was AWESOME!! I will write more this weekend. We have taken TONS of pics, so I will be making a Shutterfly website for that. Thank you so much for my birthday wishes. I did have a nice birthday. The ocean is very beautiful here. We are getting ready to go out to dinner tonight. So, I guess I should go. Will write more either Sunday or Monday.

Vacation..Mother's Day...My Birthday...

Tomorrow morning we are leaving for our week long trip up North. We are going to Oregon, Washington and Canada. We really don't have too many set plans. We are going to do the Twilight tour, go to Vancouver Aquarium and pick up our 100 Good Wishes Quilt. It is done!! We can't wait to see it. We have seen some pictures of it, but not in person. It was done last year, but there was a huge problem and Marie (Dean's parents friend) ended up taking it apart and doing it all by hand. It even has the dragonflies that I asked for. Now we are bringing it home. We both can't wait to see it. Sunday is Mother's Day. I now it is really hard for all of us still waiting for our little ones from China. I just want you all to know that WE ARE MOMMIES!!! Our little ones may not be here physically, but they are here in our hearts. CELEBRATE!!! Don't mourn this day. Go out to brunch, or do something special. We all have been waiting for this day with our babies. It is very hard to get through, but if you do something to celebrate it, it does make it better. Tell your Husband's to get you a card or flowers. You deserve it as much as the mommies that do have their little ones. WE ARE MOMMIES TO BE!! I just don't want you all to be down on this day.
Monday...MAY 11 is my 38th Birthday. I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY!! I really don't like my age getting higher, but I love my day!! I am hoping to be in Canada on that day. I want to go to the Vancouver Aquarium. I want to see the Beluga whales.
I hope you all have a wonderful week. I will update our website with what we did on vacation as soon as we get back. We don't have the luxury of a laptop computer. Some day!! Husband did by me a Tinker Bell journal so I can write down what we do on our vacation.

Today is the day of my birthday party!! We are going to have a full house today. We are expecting 14 people. WOW!! It is going to be fun to visit with our friends and family. The only down side to today is...it is RAINING!!! We were originally going to have a BBQ, but since it is raining we will be doing pizza instead. The other problem is trying to fit 14 people in our small house. It is going to be interesting. My real birthday isn't until May 11, but we will be out of town then. We are leaving next Friday for our road trip up North. We are going to Oregon, Washington and Canada. We can't wait.

What's Been Going On...

You all have probably been wondering what has been going on here. We are getting ready for my birthday party on Saturday. We are just having a small little get together for my birthday. My birthday isn't until May 11, but Dean and I are planning a road trip up to Oregon, Washington and Canada the week of my birthday. Also, I have been on call for jury duty. Yes, I said jury duty. I found out yesterday that I have been dismissed. YEAH!! I really didn't want to do it. I ALWAYS get jury duty notices every year. Not the most fun thing to do. I have been on a jury just one time in all the times I have received notices.
Also, Husband has been working late lately. This isn't fun for me. I really don't like being home alone in the evenings. He has to work late tonight, too. Hopefully this is the last one for awhile.
I ordered my cake for Saturday, yesterday. I ordered a Tinker Bell cake. You all know how much I love Tink. I will take a picture and post after the party. It is suppose to rain on Saturday. We are going to have a BBQ. I am glad that we have a cover on the back porch. Hopefully it won't be really bad.

30 Month LIDversary Gifts...

Here are the gifts that we got for Ali Shea. We opt for a game this month. She doesn't have many games. I also picked out the prince for her Little People Castle that I got from a yard sale a couple of weekends ago. We did go out to dinner at P.F. Chang's and had a nice evening.
