We would like to say thank you to our WFFC Group Secret Buddy for July's gift. This months theme was Bed Time. Again..they went way over and beyond on what they sent us. We got a box full of goodies for Ali Shea. We like it all. Thank you so much. I also need to apologize for my late thank you. We did receive this box last week and I didn't do my thank yous on time like I usually do. I would like to say that there has been LOTS and LOTS of DRAMA going on right now with us. Frist off with our agency closing and moving us to another and we having to come up with $1500 right away. Also with my husband being sick and the Drs not nowing what is wrong with him. I know it is now excuss for not posting my thank you, but I am throughly sorry for it being so late and I do really appriate all that you send us. You are a great SB and we thank you very much.
Ali Shea's 1st UKE!!

Look what we found on Thursday at our local music store. It is a purple ukulele. When I saw this I thought it would be perfect for Ali Shea's first UKE! It has it's own gig bag, too. It is so cute. When I found out how much it was I knew we needed to get it. They sold it to us for $20. Perfect price for a first uke. I can't wait to see Dean and Ali Shea playing their ukes. What do you guys think of her uke? Isn't it cute!

We would like to wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!! Today we are going to a family friends house for a BBQ and then tonight we will be going to our local fireworks show. I love the fireworks. Hopefully it won't be extremely hot.

Well, it is official, we are now with CCAI . This is our new adoption agency. I had a rough day yesterday trying to get the money for CCAI. We had to pay them $1500 for them to go forward with our adoption. On Tuesday, we found out from Dean's parents that the money that they had to help us was gone. We are now on our own. This came as a big blow. We have been told from the beginning of our adoption that they were going to pay for it and now there is no more money to help us. We really needed the help right now. We not only have to pay CCAI, but our paper work is coming up in September and we have to come up with another $1560 for that. We were able to pull the money out of Dean's vacation fund, but that was all the money. I am not to sure on how we are going to pay for the paper work update. So, as for yesterday, I thought I was going to have a nervous break down. When I went to the bank to pull out the $1000 we made from the yard sale, the banks systems were down and they didn't know when they would be back up. They said that they couldn't give us the money we need. I was freaking out because we needed to FedEx this to CCAI as soon as possible. I wanted it to them before Friday. Well, I was able to put the $500 that we barowed from my mom into the other bank and Husband was able to get the money out later in the afternoon. It all worked out just fine, but with all that has happened lately, I really thought I was going to loose it. I am still not happy with my in-laws right now. I know I will get over it, but I really wish they would have told us this sooner. We could have been saving all this time. Now we need to save about $15000 to finish out our adoption. I really hope we can do it. I guess we will see what happens. Please keep good thoughts for us. We hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend.
