Going to the Fair...

Tonight we are going to the Gold Country Fair in our home town. Tonight is $4 night!! We always try to go on $4 night. We haven't been out and done anything fun all summer. We have been dealing with Husband not feeling to good. He says he is up to it tonight. I can't wait!! Corn dogs here I come and all the carny games!! Tomorrow we have our appointment to get our fingerprints done with USCIS. So, busy weekend. I hope you all have a great weekend.

What's Been Going On...

You all have probably been wondering why I haven't been updating lately. Well, lots have been going on here. Not really fun and interesting things. Husband has been having some health issues. We are working on trying to figure out what is causing him so much pain. This has been going on for a few months now. Hopefully we will be getting some answers tomorrow. We have also been doing our home study update. It is due this month.
Over the weekend we had a really scary fire scare. There was a fire in our small town not that far from us. My dad's house was in danger, but he made it out just fine and his house made it, too. The fire ended up buring 60 homes and a few businesses. It was really scary around here. The fire is out now and we are fine.
Also, our house is up for sale. I think I said in a previous post about this. No one has come and looked at the house, which is good for us. We really don't need to worry about this right now with everything else. Dean's parents house on the other had is pending. They did find a house in Grants Pass, Or. They put a bid on it. It is a really nice house. I hope they get it. They will be only 6 hrs from us. That is still close. We could drive there. We are very happen for them. They can now retire in a town that they have wanted to live in. We are happy for them.

Goodies from Washington...

Look what Ali Shea and I got from my Mother in Law, JoAnn. I love my ladybug slippers. I really needed a new pair of slippers and now they are these very cute ladybugs. The book was for Dean from Marie C. He said that it was for Ali Shea. I said that it was for him to read to Ali Shea. It is a really cute book. It is about a Banana Slug. I love banana slugs. When we were in Washington back in May, husband and I were on a mission to find one. Well we did. We not only found 1, but we found 3. They are really neat if you never seen them before. Marie..I really love the book. I have already read it and it is really cute. I can't wait till we can read it to Ali Shea. You know how much we loves these slugs. Thank you so much.

Ladybug Sighting in New England...

Look what we received from Julie. She sent us these really cute ladybug goodies. In her note she says there was a "Ladybug Sighting in New England". We love it all. I can't wait to see Ali Shea in this cute dress. Thank you so much, Julie. It was very sweet of you to send us these goodies. They came at a perfect time. I really needed a pick me up.
