We would like to introduce you all to the newest member of our family.  This is Miss Mali the Tortoise.  She is a Sulcata Tortoise.  We chose the name Mali because that is one of the countries that they are found and it also means Jasmine Flowers.  It is perfect for her.  She is so cute and she will get really, really big.  She could get up to 250 lbs and live up to 70 yrs old.  She is really cute and tiny right now.  I can't wait for Ali Shea to meet her.  She is a really neat pet to have.  Mali was given to me by Dean for Valentine's Day.  I have always wanted a turtle.  So, he picked her out just for us.  She is perfect.  Here is a picture of her.  What do you guys think?  Let me know.

Here is the gift that was sent to us from Di with WFFC Group.  Back in November I entered a poll that is done every month to see how far referrals go up to.  Well we won along with a few other people.  This is the gift that was sent to us.  It took a little bit to get to us, which wasn't a problem.  It was a nice surprise getting this in the mail.  She sent Ali Shea this cute pink outfit along with a pink bow.  Thank you so much, Di.

Happy Chinese New Year!!!  This year is the year of the Tiger.  Who nows, maybe this is the year that Alicyn Shea is born.  We will just have to wait and see.  Today is also Valentine's Day.  So, Happy Valentine's Day, too.  Dean got me the best Valentine's gift ever.  He got me a Sulcata Tortoise.  It is also known as an African Spur Thigh Tortoise.  It is the cutest little thing.  We have named it Myrtle the Turtle.  So far it is sticking.  I have always wanted a turtle.  This turtle will live to be about 70 yrs old and get to be about 300 lbs.  I can't for Ali Shea to see it.  We don't know if it is a boy or a girl.  We will be taking it to the vet soon to find out.

We hope you all have a great Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day!!!
