44 Month LIDversary....

Today we are celebrating our 44 month LIDverary. I can't believe how long this adoption is taking. Who would have know 4 year ago when we started this process that it would have taken this long and still waiting. I know in my heart that we will be getting our referral for Alicyn Shea someday. I really hope that it is next year, but most likly the following year. Who really knows. So, this weekend we will be celebrating Ali Shea. We will probably go out to dinner and get her a little something like we do every month.
Alicyn Shea...Mommy and Daddy love you very much and can't wait to meet you and bring you home. We are still here waiting for you. We WILL wait how ever long it takes to bring you home to us.
Our 14th Wedding Anniversary...

Today Husband and I celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary!! We went out to dinner at P.F. Chang's and then came home for cake. Husband bought me a cake that says Happy anniversary and Happy 39th Birthday. He brought me home flowers from the same florest that did our wedding flowers 14 yrs ago. He also got me the movie Alice in Wonderland and a New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) CD. It was a great evening. I can't believe that we have been together for 14 yrs married and 4 yrs before that. Dean is my best friend and I love him very much. I can't imagine live with out him. It wouldn't be really fun. Husband is a really fun guy to be around. I love him very much. The only thing missing is Alicyn Shea. Hopefully she will be with us on our 15th Anniversary (next year). That would be perfect. Here is a picter of us and what Husband got me today.
43 Month LIDversary...

Today is our 43 Month LIDversary!!! I can't believe that it has taken this long. Who would have know that we still would be waiting for our referral. We are not to sure how long this wait is going to take. We are in it for the long haul. We WILL be bring our Alicyn Shea home. We just don't know when. We love this little girl so much. She is a dream right now that will come true some day!!!
Today we will be celebrating our little one. We know in our hearts that we will meet her some day. Husband and I bought her something while we were at Disneyland. I will post a picture of it later. We will celebrate her tonight at dinner.
Ali Shea...Mommy and Daddy love you very much and we will wait for you how ever long it takes to meet you and bring you home. :)
Our Vacation to Disneyland...

We recently went to Disneyland for our vacation. We went for my 39th birthday and Mother's Day. We were there for 5 days. That is a really long time for Disneyland. We had lots of fun doing it at our own pace and not being rushed. We were able to go in the morning and go back to our room in the afternoon and then go to dinner in the evening and finishing the day off at the parks. It was really fun. We took TONS and TONS of pictures, but we had a big problem with our computer. We were only able to get 72 pictures over to Shutterfly before our comuters hard drive crashed on us. We lost everything. We did have a back up, but the last time we backed up our computer was in September. So, we lost a lot of photos from there on. We learned a HUGE lesson from this. ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!!!! Back to our vacation. I did make a shutterfly website with the pics that made it. I will post the link on another page. Please go and check them out. We had lots of fun. I had a nice birthday. I was able to see my cousin, JoAnna. She drove up from La Jolla on my birthday to take us out to dinner. It was great seeing her. That was a highlight of our vacation. We did do this new fun trading thing that they have at the Disney Parks. The new trading is with Vinylmations. They are 3" or 9" vinyl Mickey Mouses that have differnt artists that have designs applied to them. The picture is of the ones that I got. What you do is buy one and open it. They are all surprises. You have the option to trade the one you got for one of 3 to choose (each store have different ones) or 1 of the 24 mystery ones. You can go to certain stores in the parks. I found it lots of fun to see what I could get next. We went to 6 differnt stores in California Adventure and ended up with Statler from the Muppets. Husband also bought me a collectors one that is purple and when we left on Wedneday, he bought me another one. I can't wait to go back and trade them again. I highly recommed doing it if you are going to Disneyland or WDW. I enjoyed it a lot more then trading the pins. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my pins. Disneyland Here We Come!!!!

Disneyland...Here we come!!!! We are leaving tomorrow for the Happiest Place On Earth. We will be there for 5 days. I am so excited. We will be there for Mother's Day and my birthday (Tuesday, the 11th). I can't wait to see Tinker Bell, Eeyore and the rest of the charaters. We are staying at the Paradise Pier for the first time. I hope we like it. We usually stay at the Disneyland Hotel. We wanted to try something different this time.
I need to say HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of our adoption community waiting moms. I hope you all celebrate on Sunday. I am. We are mom's to be!! Also, Happy Mother's day to my mother-in-law, JoAnn and of course my mom, Judie. I hope you both have a great day.
