Bib Swap..

Also in the mail was our Bibs from the Nov DTC Group Bib Swap. This months theme was Mommy. Our swap buddy was Shannon Norrie from Carver, MA. She sent us the cutest bibs. We got 2 bibs that say I Love Mommy and 1 Thanksgiving bib with a turkey that says My Little Turkey. They are so cute. I can't wait to see these on Ali Shea. She is going to look so cute. We want to personally thank Shannon for these cute bibs. Thank you so much. 
Secret Buddy Strikes Again..

Wow...today with the mail has been like Christmas. We received our Secret Buddy gift for October. This months theme was: Me Hungry. They sent us the cutest things. Alicyn Shea received a pack of Sesame Street sippy cups, Sesame Street bowl, plate and silverware set, cute black leggings, a four pack of plastic bibs, 2 pumpkin cups and a photo album. WOW!! Lots of cute things. We want to personally thank our secret buddy for all the great stuff they have sent us. Thank you so much!!
Weekend Review...

Wow..what a weekend we have had. I wrote last week husband was on call last weekend and week that we didn't really get to do much. We made up for it this weekend.
Saturday...We went shopping. We had to buy books for the Cyber Shower that I am in. This months theme is books. So, we went to the bookstore and bought books for that and we also got the neatest book on China. It is HUGE. I guess you would call it a coffee table book. It has lots of beautiful pictures and it also talks about the culture. I LOVE IT!! I have been wanting something like this since we started the adoption. It is called: CHINA People/Place/Culture/History. It is a really neat book. We got it at Barnes and Nobles. Then we to T-Mobile to get a couple of things for my new phone. Let's just say it was a long day even though we didn't do lots of stuff. Oh yeah, we also went and Dean got his hair cut. It was so needed!! He is back to my handsome man.
Sunday...We went to the pumpkin patch again. We love the pumpkin patch. We went and got our huge pumpkin. It is about 20 lbs. We stayed there for a little while. Then on our way home we stopped at Bath and Body Works and I got some new Smellys. I have been out of my good perfume for a little while. We went looking for it and it is no longer being made. So, I thought until Christmas I would get some that was a little cheaper. I got their perfume of Sweet Pea. It smells really good. Then we had to go to GhettoLand (Winco) to go grocery shopping. It has been a really nice day. We hope that everyone had a great weekend, too.
On another note....only 3 more days until our 1 yr LIDversary. On Wednesday we will be celebrating being logged in with China for 1 yr.
Ali's Christmas Ornament...

This week I ordered a Christmas ornament for Alicyn Shea from Jiinkinkids. It is a little girl with brown eyes that says BELIEVE on it. I love this word. This word describes so many things for me. It means to me...I BELIEVE in Fairies. Everyone know that I LOVE FAIRIES!! It also means with the China adoption. You have to Believe that we WILL all have our little princesses here someday. It is a very special word. I bought this ornament for Ali Shea. Last year we bought her first ornament and it too, was a Jiinkinkids ornament. It has a panda on it and says Alicyn Shea. I absolutely love Stephanie's art. Please click on the link above and check it out. She makes the most beautiful pictures and now ornaments. You might want to buy some Christmas gifts from there. Hair Bows..

Today I received some hair bows for the Hair Bow Exchange from the November DTC Group. This months theme was Halloween or Orange & Black. Our buddy was Corine Ponto from Elk River, MN. She sent Alicyn Shea these cute orange, yellow and white with orange polka dots head bands and a black bow clip. Thank you so much. Ali is going to look so cute with these on. Thanks again.
