What color of Christmas Tree are U???

You Should Have a Purple Christmas Tree
For you, the holidays represent a time of creativity and expression.
There's no way you'd do something bland simply for tradition's sake.

You are an independent person, and you definitely do the holidays your own way.
And you're decadent enough to go way over the top with any unusual holiday ideas you have.

Your purple tree would look great with: Purple lights and ornaments

You should spend Christmas Eve watching: A Christmas Story

What you should bake for Santa: "Kitchen sink" cookies - with a ton of things in them

What color of Christmas Tree are you?   I saw this on Dannye's blog.  I thought I should try it out.  Now you try it out and let me know.  You can leave me a comment in our guest book.  Mine is PURPLE!!  LOVE IT!  First off...purple is my favorite color and Second...we have done our Christmas Tree with all purple lights, bows, and lots of purple ornaments before.  We now have blue and white light that Dean like to call our tree the Hanukkah tree with LOTS of Hallmark and other ornaments on it.  Also, we have stayed up and watched A Christmas Story on Christmas Eve.  They show it for 24 hrs.  I love that movie.  Please try it out and don't forget to leave me a comment on what your tree is.

We wanted to take a picture of Lily in her new coat we bought tonight.  Well, here is the picture.  It is not only Princess Lily in her new pink polka-dot coat, but The BEAST hopped on the bed and decided she needed to sniff Lily in her new coat.   I do have to say that Princess Lily looks really cute in her new coat.  She will be warm and cozy for our winter season.  Tell us what you think of Lily and The BEAST!!

What we have been up to...

It has been a few days since I have written.  What we have been up to is just about nothing during the week, but yesterday and this weekend is pretty busy.  Yesterday was a rain day, so Husband came home kind of early and we went to the movies and saw The Golden Compass.  We really enjoyed it.  We have never read the books, but are planning on to after we get done with the last Harry Potter.  Yes, Husband is reading Harry Potter to me.  It takes a little while because he reads it out loud and we only do a chapter when we feel like reading it.  Back to The Golden Compass.  I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a wonderful fantasy/adventure movie.   It was a fun night.  Now that brings us to today.  Today was a fun day of shopping for....ME!!  Ok, we also did Christmas shopping for other members of our family.  We got the main part of my Christmas gift.  I got a new purse, it is in black.   I also got a new wallet.   The best thing was they both were on sale.  Great price for everything.  I really wanted a nice new purse and wallet for Christmas.  I haven't had a wallet in 10 yrs, but I do have to say that my wallet now is a Fossil and it lasts for EVER!!  Our day also consisted of us going out to dinner with Dean's parents, his brother and fiancé' and son and also my mom.  It was a nice evening.  After dinner, Husband, Mom and I went to our towns Old Town Christmas.  They block off the streets and there are vendors, a bomb fire, entertainment, food and also all the stores stay open until 9 pm.  The do it 2 times every year.  We will also be going to it next Saturday.  This is one of our traditions.  There we bought Lily a new coat, I got a new hat(it was very cold and I needed something to cover my ears!)  and we bought Alicyn Shea this really cute bracelet.  This lady made them out of ribbon and these cute little patches.  I got Ali Shea one that is purple with a purple and green flower.  It is really cute.  Here is a picture of her cute bracelet.  I also bought something for Miss Julie, but I won't be getting it until next Saturday.  After the Old Town Christmas, we went Christmas light seeing.  This is also one of our many traditions.   As for Sunday...we are going to finish up our shopping and of course the normal grocery shopping at Ghetto Land.  We hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend.  I LOVE this time of year!!  Happy Holidays!

Julie...I will be sending you a little some thing for Christmas!!  You know I couldn't pass on sending you something.
