This morning our youngest fur baby...Daisy Lyn was in rare form.  She got a hold of one of my socks and was whipping it around like a wild child.  Here is a picture of her in action.  It was so funny.  Every day, this pooch is so full of energy.  She love to chase her daddy around the house.  Dean will go one way and Daisy will go the other.  As for our other 2 fur babies...well, they just rather not be bothered.  Bailey J does chase after her when she get so wild.  He ends up getting bit by her.

On Saturday I bought Ali Shea her 13 month LIDversary gift.  I bought this awesome toy.  It is Weebles Storybook: Weeblelot Castle.  I have been wanting to buy her some Weebles for awhile now.  I had weebles growing up.  They have definitely changed.  I bought this a a local flea market for $25.  This retails for $45.  Here is a picture of it.

Ali Shea...better late then never.  We ended up missing our LIDversary this month (Nov) due to being very busy.  I know that is no excuse.  Well, I did find this bad boy just for you.  We love you very much.

Enchanted...

  December 01, 2007

click to enlarge On Friday, mom and I went to the movies and saw Enchanted.  I have been wanting to see this movie.  I am a huge DISNEY fan.  I really enjoyed this movie.  It has the best of both worlds: cartoon and live action.  For the past couple of days I have been very down.  I really needed a pick me up.  This movie did it for me.  I recommend it if you like Disney movies.  I do have to say it is very cheesy.  I really think that is why I liked it so much.  It did the trick.  For a couple of hours I have to say that I was happy.  My mind wasn't thinking of the adoption, I was immersed in the movie.

September is our of Review!!

  November 30, 2007

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before September 30, 2006.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before December 8, 2005.
Can you believe it...the CCAA has made it through September 30, 2006.  YEAH!!!  That is a good thing.  That means we are FINALLY in the Review Room.  This is a scary and critical part of our adoption.  We need to make it through here with NO QUESTIONS asked!!!   Everyone has said we are "Grandfathered In" and the new rules should not apply to us.  Well, I am still very nervous because China can do what they want.  Husband and I read of a family who's LID is 10/11/06 for a different agency and they got not only questioned, but DENIED!  I would die if we get denied.  Their reason for being denied was because she had Postpartum Depression.  I don't have PPD, but I do have depression.  That scares me more then the weight issue.  I can work on the weight, but as for the depression, I have to take medication for it.  Let's just say last night was not only joyous to find out that we are now in the Review Room, but also very frightening.  I couldn't stop crying.  I have been very positive through this whole LONG process until now.  So, please wish us luck that we DON'T get questioned.   Congratulations to everyone in September for passing the Review Room.  Once we get out of there with no questions asked, then we just wait.  That means we have made it through and Ali Shea will be with us after our extremly long wait.
