Secret Santa from WFFC...

  December 21, 2007

click to enlarge Today we received our Secret Santa Gift from WFFC Group.  Our buddy was Kate & Brian Knox from Sussex, WI.  They sent us soooo much stuff!!  Our box was HUGE!!  When we opened it there were all these gifts wrapped in Tinker Bell wrapping paper.  LOVED IT!!  I do have to say that this time I waited to open the box until Dean came home.  He came home early today.  Here is what we got: a stuffed ladybug with a kooshi head, Clover the fairy of luck book and doll, Garden fairy sticker book with paper doll, Fairyland sticker activity book, Winnie the Pooh Movie: A Very Merry Pooh Year, 10 Ladybug book, Bumble along Eeyore(my favorite!), cute Santa and snowman PJ's for Ali Shea, Fortune cookie fizzers, Reese peanut butter cups(for Dean), chocolate covered cherries(for me), and treats for the pooches.  WOW!!  I told you lots of goodies.  We would like to personally thank Kate and Brian for all the wonderful goodies you sent us.  This has really made our holiday.  Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Getting Ready For Christmas & Thanks..

  December 20, 2007

What a special Christmas this is going to be.  We made it out of the Review Room, which means that Ali Shea WILL be home with us someday in the future.  I know that we still have an extremely long wait, but it does make it a whole lot easier to know that we WILL be parents someday.  This really makes for a stress free Christmas.  Yesterday mom and I did all of our delivering of our baking goodies.  I just have 2 more to deliver.  We have all of our Christmas shopping done.  Now all we are doing is just counting down the days until Christmas is here.  We have lots planned this weekend.  We need to finish our grocery shopping and pick up our ham (Honey Baked Ham) for Christmas day.  On Monday is not only Christmas Eve, but it is also our 14 month LIDversary.  Husband has the day off, so mom, Husband and I will be going out to brunch to celebrate and we will be getting Ali Shea a little something.  It will make for a special day even more special.  We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!!

**We would really like to thank everyone for their nice comments and emails we have been getting, congratulating us on making it through the Review Room.  They are very special to us.  Please keep leaving them.  If you haven't left a comment, please do.  It means so much to us that we have everyones love and support.  I will be printing them up and put them in Ali Shea's scrapbook.  This was an important time and I really want to document it for Ali Shea.  She can see all the love and support we are getting through this special time.  Thank you so much!!**

WE ARE OUT OF THE REVIEW ROOM!!!

  December 18, 2007

WE ARE OUT OF THE REVIEW ROOM!!  October of 06' has made it through the review room.  I am so excited that I have been crying.  I can't believe it.  I have been so scared that we would be questioned or have something wrong.  We made it through with NO CALLS!!  The Review Room is a major part of our adoption process.   This is the process where they check through our file and make sure we are going to be good parents.  In this room they can pass you through, ask you questions, request more information or even deny you.  WE MADE IT!!  The next step is  our  long wait until our referral comes.  Alicyn Shea is going to come home to us!!  Here is the official information:

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before October 31, 2006.
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before December 14, 2005.

This feels so good!!  This really makes for a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Congratulations to all of us who were in October and everyone coming up in November...NO Worries.  If we made it...so will you!!

Alicyn Shea...Mommy and Daddy are coming to get you!!  We will be there soon(or later)!  We love you very much!
