14 Days 'til WDW!!

I was checking my widget this morning and noticed that we have 14 more days left until we leave for the happiest place on earth, WDW!! I can't believe it is right around the corner. It feels like it has been forever since we booked our vacation. We got our tickets this weekend in the mail for the Pirate and Princess Party. They are like a credit card. One has Tinkerbell and the other has the 7 Dwarfs. You know which is mine. :) Last night I ordered a T-Shirt for me. It has Eeyore on it and says my name. Here is a picture. We paid extra to get it here in a couple of days. As for what we have been doing lately, well, much of nothing. At least nothing interesting. We are just hanging in here. I have been trying to keep busy until we go on vacation. This vacation has been helping me keep my mind off this long wait with the adoption. Tomorrow we will have been waiting 18 months for Alicyn Shea. It feels like it has been FOREVER!! Sometimes it feels like there is no light at the end of this LONG tunnel. We WILL wait how ever long it takes until we are able to bring Ali Shea home.

Look what we got today...A HUGE package came for us from Amy, Wade & Connor Darlington from Moorestown, NJ. They are our secret buddies that we send to. They sent us all these goodies for Miss Ali Shea. This was a thank you from them to us. I can't believe all the wonderful goodies they sent us. I have always wanted the penguin bowling. I really love the fairy-Lovely Lily's Pad. Ali Shea is going to have so much fun playing with these. Also, the cutest outfits. I really love them all. The bibs are perfect. Have I told you that purple is my favorite color. This really made my day. We did not ever expect this. You have really made us feel very special. We can't thank you enough for all these goodies. We enjoy every month shopping for your little one. I can't wait until next month when we go to WDW. I will have to pick something very special for your little one and of course, Connor!!
Secret Buddy Thank You and an Issue..

We received our secret buddy gift for the month of April. This months theme was Musical Melodies. They sent us 2 Wiggles DVDs and 1 Brainy Baby VHS tap. We really like what they have sent us these past months. Well, there has been an issue. I received an email today for Laura who is in charge of the exchange saying that our secret buddy took our "Thank You" on the message board as we were complaining. I have been requesting in our "thank yous" to please put a little note or card in our packages so I can put them in Ali Shea's scrapbook. Well, they took that as I was complaining about our gifts. I really don't get how that is complaining. Any of you want to chime in on this. Do you think a simple request of putting in a note/card in the secret buddy gift is a complaint? I guess I need your guys input on this. Many of you have been in swaps/exchanges, do you guys send a note or get one in return with your gifts? See, I am doing a special scrapbook for Alicyn Shea that has pictures of all the gifts she has received and notes/cards/post cards in there, too. I think the note is a little pick me up in this long wait we all have. Well, secret buddy if you are reading this, I am sorry you feel that I am complaining about our gifts. I am NOT!! We have enjoyed receiving all the gifts you have sent our little Ali Shea. We liked them all.
Pirate & Princess Party at DW..

Guess what we are going to do while we are at Disney World...we are going to the Pirate and Princess Party on Friday May 9th. We are so excited. I can't wait to go. I guess this is a big thing. We had to buy extra tickets for this event. I bought the tickets on Friday. We still have 23 days until we go to Disney World. It feels so far away, but I know that it is getting closer.
