Ali Night...
April 24, 2008
Tonight we went out to dinner to celebrate our 18 month LIDversary, otherwise known as Ali Shea night. We had a nice dinner then we went and visited Dean's Grandma. That was really nice. She hasn't been feeling good. Then we went and got Ali Shea her gift. We got her a Disney Princess Dinnerware set. I guess you could say that this was the right gift with us going to WDW in exactly 2 weeks. We leave at 12:15 am on 5/8. We can't wait.Ali Shea...We love you so much. We can't wait till you are home with us.
What a Day...
April 24, 2008
I had a day today. I have been having problems with my ear for a long while now. Last night, Husband put ear drops in my ear to remove ear wax and that's when it all started. We followed the directions and all of a sudden I lost hearing in my ear. I got really dizzy and pressure in my head. We tried everything to make it pop, but it didn't. I had to go to bed like that. I couldn't hear out of my right ear at all. I woke up this morning and it was still the same. I ended up going to the Dr's to get it looked at. Well, I had really bad ear wax in there and the ear drops that we put in last night just were absorbed. Not good. Well, they put ear drops in and I had to wait for 10 min and then they flushed it. That didn't work. It was so hard and compacted in there. They did the ear drops again and I had to wait another 10 min with LOTS more flushing with warm water. They nurse ended up using long tweezers to pull it out. BOY COULD I HEAR!! I haven't heard that good in a LONG time. The wax was HUGE!! I am so glad it is out, but I have another problem with the same ear. I have LOTS of fluid in it. I have to take high dosage of Sudafed and Benadryl for 10 days. Then when we go on our trip, they recommend for me to chew gum going up and down on the plane. It wasn't the best time, but I do love the fact that I can hear very clear now.
18 Month LIDversary...
April 24, 2008
Can you believe that we have already made it through 18 months of waiting for our Alicyn Shea. WOW!! When we started this process, we were told that we would be matched with our child in 10-12 months. Then, when our papers were logged in with China the wait went to 18 months. We should have already been matched with Ali Shea by now. The wait keeps getting longer and longer. We aren't really sure when we will get to meet our little princess. Well, today we are going to celebrate our 18 month LIDversary and celebrate Alicyn Shea. We will go out to dinner like we always do and get her a little something. Ali Shea...Mommy and Daddy are still waiting for to meet you. We will wait however long it takes to see your cute little face. We love you very much!!
Husband's Tattoo...

Why I picked Eeyore for my T-shirt...
April 23, 2008
Why I picked Eeyore for my new T-shirt and not Tinkerbell. I don't know if many of you know, but Eeyore has always been my favorite Disney character. I have a tattoo on my right ankle of Eeyore. Here is a picture of what it looked like when I got it done. This was in October of 04'. Husband wanted to get a tattoo for his 30th birthday. Husband got a Kermit the Frog playing his(husbands) Uke. After seeing him do it, I wanted one, too. So, I picked Eeyore. He is so cute. I get lots of complements on it. So, that is why I picked Eeyore T-shirt. Hopefully sometime this year or next, I can get a Tinkerbell tattoo next. We both have been talking about it. I guess we will have to wait and see.
