Cupcakes...

Here are the finished cupcakes!! I think they turned out cute. I made the butter cream frosting and Husband put the frosting on the cupcakes. Don't you think he did a GREAT job! What to do you think of my special 3 layered cupcake? Husband thought that one up. Hopefully it is still together this morning. :) Still have lots to do to get ready for this afternoon. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Countdown Begins...

The countdown has begun. We have only 5 more days until we get on the air plane and fly to Florida. We are going to Walt Disney World!! We will be meeting up with Dannye and Ray on Saturday May 10th to spend the day at Universal Studios. WE CAN'T WAIT!! Then on Sunday, May 11th, that is my 37th BIRTHDAY!! I can't wait to spend it with all the Disney Characters!! EEYORE..here I come!!

Cupcakes and More Cupcakes...

I have been a very busy bee today. I have been making CUPCAKES for my birthday party. Tomorrow we are having a little shindig for my 37th birthday. My real birthday isn't until May 11, but we will be at WDW on vacation. Today has been so busy. This morning mom and I had to do last minute shopping, I went and got my lip and brows waxed, we went to the post office to send some swaps and then we came home and had a little bit of lunch and we had to go back out again to get my hair colored. LOTS and LOTS of stuff to do. I am currently at home with blue hair color on my hair waiting to go back around 5 pm to get it rinsed out. We are trying something different. Seeing if the color will last longer. The color was put on at 2pm. So, I have been making cupcakes the past couple of hours. I have also boiled the pasta for a pasta salad. See, I told you it was a busy day. Here is a picture of my flower cupcakes. What do you think? They aren't frosted yet, but I will post a picture later when they are all done. I have made 48 cupcakes. Do you think that is enough for 15 people? :) I love to bake! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.P.S...Checkout Daisy in the background of the picture. HAPPY MAY DAY!!! I love this month. So many things happen this month. First we have our WDW vacation, my 37th birthday, which is on Mother's Day, my brothers birthday, Bailey's 10 birthday, which is on Cinco de Mayo and we have lots friends who's birthdays are this month. LOTS and LOTS of things going on. Oh yeah, we also are having a my birthday party on Saturday. Also exactly one week from today, we will be at Walt Disney World!! I can't wait! Now you can see why I love this month. I hope everyone has a happy May Day today!

You have probably been wondering what we have been doing this weekend. Well, today we spent all day CLEANING!! We are getting the house and yard ready for this coming weekend. On Saturday we are having a party. It is a birthday party for me. My birthday isn't until May 11, but we will be at WDW for my birthday. My mom wanted to throw a little party form my 37th birthday. Well, so much for it being little. We will have about 15 people at our little house. Husband spent yesterday and today cutting down the shrubs and getting the front looking really good. We needed to have extra parking. Here is a picture of our front yard without the shrubs. Doesn't it look good? I cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and computer area. There is still more that needs to be done, but we have the week to finish it up. I do have lots to do this week to get ready for our trip. We don't have that long until we are on our long awaited vacation. We have 10 days until we leave. We can't wait. So...how was your weekend? We have been having really nice spring weather. Yesterday when we were out and about, the weather was so nice. It got to 92° in Roseville. That was very warm. Please leave comments. I have been getting lonely.
